I read Luke 5 this morning. Jesus called his first disciples at the Lake of Gennesaret. After seeing Jesus performing a miracle, Peter was afraid and told Him “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.”
While reading this chapter, my mind was somewhere else — about our house we are trying to build. How it is not going well at all.
It’s so easy to lose sight of Him and sit in complete darkness. Even when you are so blessed that you get to build a house of your own, the process can totally mess you up. There have been so many delays, mess-ups and unanswered questions. We feel cheated and upset.
If I’m like this, never mind catching people. I’m feel like I’m drowning. I can’t think straight! I fell like I’m wandering in the dark
Early in the morning, I will get up and catch me some light.
Before anything, I will catch my God first. Lord come. Catch me. Let me find you. Let me stand up and walk again.
