Studying the Bible and memorizing it’s key verses are at the top of my list. When I am about to die, or if I’m not allowed to own a Bible any more, I want to be able to whisper or read to myself in my head the promises, the very Word of God which will be so reassuring.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him Romans 6:8,9
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
