Truth – The Hebrew and Greek words for “truth” share a common meaning. A thing is “true” when it corresponds to reality. In the Bible “truth” is no abstract ideal or philosophical concept. God has unveiled in his Word the way things really are and how life is meant to be lived. All that Scripture shows us about ourselves, about relationship with God, and about relationships with others, is a revelation of reality as God knows it.
