Born Blind

See now

Lord, I can see now.

The powers that be tell me that you are a sinner.

“Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know.  I was blind but now I see.”  (John 9:25)  I told them. I was so happy to have received my sight that I forgot to be afraid of them for a moment.

They questioned me about the miracle you performed on me and about you. I told them, “He opened my eyes.  We know that God does not listen to sinners.  He listens to the godly person who does his will.  Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” (John 9:30-33)

Then, they threw me out saying that “You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us?”

I can see that their eyes are opened but blind to the obvious. They already made up their mind.  They will always reject you and throw you out.

I see that too now.

So I don’t mind being thrown out.

Call me a dog Call me a sinner

I am a happy dog.
